LGRA Details

All dogs must be registered with LGRA before entering their first race. To register you dog, go online and obtain a provisional LGRA registration number prior to race day.

To register with LGRA, your Borzoi must have AKC Registration, AKC’s Indefinite Listing Privilege (ILP) status, or foreign registry papers. Obtaining ILP status may take a month or more; apply early if you wish to race a dog that has no AKC or foreign registration.

Dogs must be one year of age or older on the date of a race to participate in LGRA meets.

Hounds must pre-qualify before entering their first LGRA race. To pre-quality, the dog must run a practice race, without fouls, with a proven dog.
